TIPO LITOGRÁFICO DE RAMÍREZ Y COMPAÑÍA Magallanes, 1 y sucursal Escolta, 12. 1892 AL LECTOR Al publicarse por vez primera, este pequeño Diccionario Bagobo Español, que con no poca paciencia hemos compuesto y ordenado, debemos recordar, ó amado lector, lo dicho ya en el prólogo del Diccionario Español Bagobo, respecto á la separación de sílabas que existe en muchas palabras bagobas, cuya separación la índica un guión ó pequeña línea horizontal, que generalmente se encontrará entre dos consonantes iguales como por ejemplo en OD DO GON NAO, en cuyas palabras y en otras semejantes, la consonante suena lo mismo en la sílaba posterior que en la anterior, si bien en ésta es en donde especialmente se carga el acento, procurando que la pronunciación sea clara é imitativa en lo posible.
