Non; c'est ici le récit d'un soldat qui raconte simplement ce qu'il a vu, ce qu'il a fait, ce qu'il a senti, au milieu de ces armées s'écroulant dans un abîme. A ce point de vue, ces souvenirs, qui ont au moins le mérite de la sincérité, ont leur intérêt; c'est un nouveau chapitre de l'histoire de cette funeste guerre de 1870 que nous offrons à nos lecteurs.
