Not a thrilling story, more an account of the South sea islands at the being of the 1900's, interesting if you wanted to know what island people's and life was like back then, other than that a little ordinary. The narrator was good throughout and a lot better than many I have heard on LibriVox.

I tried hard to listen. I am sure this is a fascinating book. I know these are volunteers. I am sorry to complain, but Gods above, where could they have learned to read? When did we stop teaching people what sentences were, what punctuation meant? I had to stop listening, as this reader added so many punctuation marks that the text never had, the words lost all meaning.
