May be dated, but has some pretty good ideas and approaches, even if the facts are sometimes incorrect. Interestingly, the author mentions a theory that seems like an early ruminations on epigenetics.

The previous reviewer is dead on. The medical beliefs of the time would be laughed at today. This was really interesting.

Very funny to read how perceptions on sex and other *taboo* topics have remained the same or changed. Very quick read and good for some laughs. Some ideas should remain to this day.
