By:

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Aunt Jane's Nieces Abroad" by L. Frank Baum. The story follows the adventures of three young nieces as they travel to Europe with their aunt. The characters are well-developed and likable, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. The descriptions of the various European cities they visit are vivid and engaging, making me feel like I was right there alongside them.

The plot is fast-paced and full of excitement, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns to keep me hooked until the very end. The author's writing style is engaging and easy to read, making it a perfect choice for readers of all ages.

Overall, I would highly recommend "Aunt Jane's Nieces Abroad" to anyone looking for a charming and entertaining read. It's a delightful story that will transport you to a different time and place, and leave you longing for your own adventures abroad.

Book Description:

Aunt Jane's Nieces Abroad is the second of the ten book series of Aunt Jane's Nieces. The story continues with the three much loved girls - the sweet and generous Patsy, the cunning Louise, and the sullen Beth. This time they're on a tour of Europe with their down-to-earth uncle John Merrick.

The benevolent uncle and his nieces meet mysterious and sinister Victor Valdi, his daughter Tato, and a pretend nobleman, Count Ferralti, who fancies Louise. The story revolves around travel and kidnapping, and the subsequent adventures of the three young girls, told in Baum's own inimitable style that keeps us at the edge of our seats.

This book was pleasant and easy to listen to. This series is a simple story with not a lot of excitement throughout the book. Nice narration except for chapter 14.
