A senhora, que teve este nome, suicidou se com um tiro, no Porto, no dia 30 do mez passado[1].

D'entre os meus escriptos de ha doze annos reproduzo um que a toda gente, com certeza, esqueceu, tirante o coração d'aquella que hoje é morta.

Julio Janin, no folhetim do Jornal dos Debates de 30 de março do corrente anno (1863), escreveu o seguinte: «No anno da graça de 1836, o mez de abril correu aprazivel e delicioso; e no mez de maio resoaram canções que farte. Ora, a ponto de expirar o mavioso abril e repontar o maio (apenas são volvidos vinte e sete annos e tres revoluções!) as turbas afanadas e curiosas acotovelavam se no vestibulo do theatro da Porte Saint Martim . O já então popular e glorificado author de HENRIQUE III, de ANTONY, de RICARDO DE ARLINGTON, da TORRE DE NESLE e de ANGELO, n'aquella noite, puzera em scena um mysterio em que figuravam anjos e demonios.
