Se oli pienellä kapealla Juutalaiskadulla, joka raastuvantorille päin käy ahtaammaksi ja lopulta niin ahtaaksi, että taustalla oleva kuu näytti hopeaviivalta, joka oli vedetty väli kahden ijäkkään korkeapäätyisen, ulkoneumilla ja pikkutorneilla varustetun talon.
