It was an okay story. The first couple of parts are a nice Sherlock Holmes story, while the last part is really just a backstory without any real Sherlock Holmes involvement. That may turn some off looking for just Sherlock stories, but otherwise it was a fine story. Reading was fine, unremarkable but clear.

I love anything Sherlock but do some of these readers never listen to themselves. Odd reading cadence with this reader, annoying. Love the story, though.

A fabulous story by a fabulous storyteller. The story is spun with Sherlock only on the fringe. A surprisingly enjoyable "listen" I recommend to those who enjoy serious mysteries (as opposed to the lighthearted type).
