[1]En l'an de l'Incarnation mil cent soixante cinq fu né le bon roy Phelippe, en la onziesme kalende de septembre, à la feste saint Thimotée et saint Simphorian. (Quant l'enfant fu né,) il fu appelé[2] Phelippe Dieudonné par anthonomasie; car le roy Loys son père qui estoit saint homme et bon crestien avoit receu plusieurs filles de trois femmes qu'il avoit espousées, n'avoir ne povoit nul hoir masle qui après luy gouvernast le royaume de France: mais à la parfin le preud'homme et la noble roine Ale sa femme et tout le clergié et tout le royaume se convertirent à aumosnes et oroisons.
