"Overall, Ezra by American Standard Version is a well-translated and highly accurate version of the biblical book of Ezra. The language is easy to read and understand, making it accessible for readers of all backgrounds. The footnotes provide valuable context and explanations, enhancing the reader's understanding of the text. However, some may find the language to be quite formal and archaic compared to modern translations. Despite this, Ezra by American Standard Version remains a valuable resource for those looking to deepen their understanding of this important biblical text."

Book Description:

The history of the first return of exiles, in the first year of Cyrus the Great (536 B.C.), till the completion and dedication of the new Temple in Jerusalem, in the sixth year of Darius (515 B.C.). The history of the second return under Ezra, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes Longimanus, and of the events that took place at Jerusalem after Ezra’s arrival there.
